Seasons

Time in Umtri. A season is a growth chapter; the slider replays how the tree grew.

What a season is

A season is a growing chapter of your project — like a version, phase, or period. One season is now; the earlier ones are past. Adding a new season seals the current now as past and opens a fresh one to grow into.

The slider

Structure is space, but time lives in the slider at the bottom. Drag it back and nodes appear and fall away by when they were created and removed — so you can review exactly how the project grew, from PRE (before planting) through each season’s events. The vertical axis is spatial only; it does not encode time.

Transplanting

  • Transplanting — a ground being moved in; past-season edits and hard delete are open. A banner marks it.
  • Rooted — the normal guarded mode. Rooting a ground ends transplanting.

Seasons are marked by people. AI agents cannot create seasons or root a ground; those are human decisions. (An agent may re-open transplanting only when you explicitly ask.)
