What is Umtri
A platform that visualizes a project growing over time — drawn as one living tree that people and AI read together.
Umtri maps a project as a tree. Structure becomes space; time lives in a slider. Instead of holding the architecture in your head, you and your AI look at the same picture — where each part sits, how it connects, and how it grew season by season.
The tree
Every project is laid out in five layers: trunk (domains) → limb (features) → twig (modules) → leaf (objects like a class, file, or component) → vein (actions such as a method or function). The more domains it spans, the wider it grows; the more its information branches, the taller it rises.
Seasons
A project moves through seasons — growth chapters like a version, phase, or period. One season is now, the rest are past. Drag the slider back and branches and leaves appear and fall away, so you can replay exactly how the project grew.
Two ways in
Start at app.umtri.io and plant your first ground — the Get started pages walk through it. When you want your AI tools and pipeline to read and build the tree directly, the Connect · MCP & API pages cover the Model Context Protocol server and open API.
